Luke and Jill Move to Dixie!

Mark's brother Luke and his family finally moved to Saint George this weekend!! They found a beautiful home about 2 miles from ours. We are excited to have them so close! We took a drive with them up to Pine Valley on Sunday and enjoyed the cooler temperatures. Mark and I are leaving on Thursday to go to Northern Utah for the 4th of July weekend. My sisters from San Francisco and Charlotte N.C. will also be coming with their families so I will be excited to visit with them. The above picture is one Mark took in Teton National Park just outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This moose was sauntering through the meadow and he was causing quite a stir with the tourists! There were several professional camera men on the scene. It was neat to be so close to a moose in such a pretty setting.
This is a picture of Brianna and her cousin Preston on the front steps of the historic Pine View LDS Chapel.

This is a picture of Pine Valley Reservoir but unfortunately you can't really see the water sorry I am still learning to be a photographer!

Sleeping Beauty

I went to check on Brianna while she was napping and I thought she looked cute with her arms tucked under her head so I snapped a picture. In the process I woke her up and she cried for 10 minutes so I hope someone appreciates the picture!

Pam and kids come to visit!

I got to visit with one of my most favorite people in all the world yesterday. Pam, her kids and her sister Suzie stopped in to see me on their way to Las Vegas yesterday. We had a great visit and I am driving down to Vegas on Thursday to spend the day with them!

The kids had a fun time playing and Brianna even let Ellie wear her beloved pink batting helmet!

Brianna's Birthday!

Out of all the gifts Brianna got her favorite was this darling purse and sassy yellow shoes she got from Aunt Peggy. She wore the shoes and purse all that day and then also to church the next day!

I love this purse I wish they had it in adult size!

Brianna goes to Jumpin Jacks!

For Brianna's birthday we took her to a place called Jumpin Jacks. It is basically a big indoor playground with huge blown up bouncy toys and slides. This is a fun place for kids to play during the hot summer days in Dixie. I was pretty much worn out after because the adults get to play on the toys also and I am telling you I am not as young as I use to be. Brianna had a ball but when it was time to go we had to carry her out kicking and sreaming! She was yelling stop it Mommy stop it!!

This was one of Brianna's favorite toys! Her hair was a little disleveled at this point!

WWWWEEEEEE!!!

Mark was telling me that Brianna used a couple of straps and worked herself to the top of this slide. She seems to be very physically active and loves to run, jump and climb!

Getting ready for take off!

Hot air balloon serves as alarm clock!

So as I was restfully sleeping Monday morning I was suddenly awakened by what sounded like a fire eating dragon. I sprung from my bed or rather gingerly rolled out and went out my front door and could not see anything. All of a sudden the noise came again but this time louder and more intense. I looked directly up and coming over the roof of my home was a giant hot air balloon. It was literally 20 feet above the roof of my home! The pilot of the balloon proceeded to land on my street and 15 minutes later a truck pulled up with a trailer they deflated the balloon and rode away like this was just normal for our neighborhood. I have to tell you it was quite a site but I am not sure our street was meant as a hot air balloon landing zone. I think he must have been having problems and had to land quickly!

I wish I could have gone for a ride!

Brianna soon to be Terribly Two!!

Brianna's 2nd birthday is tomorrow and I can hardly believe it has already been 2 years since we first brought her home from the Brigham City Hospital! We have been so blessed to have her in our lives. She brings joy and laughs every single day! The rate that Mark and I bring children into this world she may be our first and last so we will cherish every day with her! I got a little carried away with the pictures so forgive me if I posted too many!

Here are a few pictures of our Lake Powell Week!

Here is a picture of my brother's houseboat "The San Juan Sunrise"

My nephew Payton washing the endless red sand off his feet!

Brianna had to adjust to wearing a life jacket on a daily basis!!

Mark cruising on the waverunner! This is one of my favorite things to do at Lake Powell!

Mark getting ready to jump in the Lake! The slide that is behind him provided hours of fun with the kids and adults!

My nephews fishing off the top deck of the house boat!

Thatcher and Brianna resting up on the couch! Brianna really likes Thatcher which is a miracle because she is leary of men which I hope she keeps that attitude until she turns about 25

Brianna and Rylee chilling in the hammock on the top deck of the house boat. This actually rocked her asleep for a nap that day!
