Trip To The Library!

This past week we decided to take the kids to story time at the new Washington County Library when we arrived we politely asked where story time was being held? The somewhat ornery librarian informed us that during the summer it is not held. By the look she gave us it was apparent she thought we were ignorant and uninformed. How very foolish of us to think that such an activity would be held during the summer when Moms are looking for things to occupy their children's minds besides T.V. Jill ever so gently suggested to her that summer would be a great time to implement story time. Jill's suggestion was met with a long awkward stare. Nevertheless we pressed on to the children's section of the library and Jill did her best to read a well animated story! In the movies they alway portray librarians as being mean onery ladies that shush people well this lady fit the role perfectly.

Happy 3rd Birthday Little Anna!

I know it has been a month since I last blogged and I will repent and try and do better! While I was gone Brianna turned 3 years old and we went out and celebrated on the town. We had a great day and if you have the time I have downloaded quite a few pictures of the day. Thank you to all who called, sent cards or gave presents we appreciate your thoughtfulness and for those who did not, you are sooo lucky because I am still taking cash donations at this time!(ha ha) Hope all of you are doing well and having a great summer!

To celebrate Anna's birthday we took her to Fiesta Fun Center. We rode water boats and sprayed each other, played on the kids jungle gym and played games. I did however end up swearing at a teenage boy for spraying Brianna but I have since repented and Mark took care of him by dousing him with water!

After Fiesta Fun we took Brianna to Pirate Island Pizza for Dinner. Here she is giving out her first order as the newly crowned Pirate Princess!

Anna's favorite gift of the day was her Mrs. Potato Head Doll, I have to tell you I even enjoyed playing with it!
